A fixture of the Pacific Northwest music scene for more than two decades, Billy Shew brings a lifetime of musical experience to every performance. After moving around the country at a young age and being exposed to a wide range of music communities and traditions, Billy developed a sound that moves naturally between blues, country, classic rock, and jazz-influenced roots music. His influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Robben Ford to Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, John Denver, and Dave Matthews, giving audiences a set that is both wide-ranging and deeply rooted in American music. His performances reflect decades spent studying, teaching, and celebrating music through great songs, skilled guitar work, and a genuine love of the craft.
