Raised among the rivers, forests, and backroads of rural Northern California, Megan Brickwood brings a strong sense of place to her modern folk and Americana songwriting. Her music carries traces of blues and rock alongside intricate acoustic guitar and thoughtful storytelling, with influences ranging from Joni Mitchell and Aimee Mann to the atmospheric fingerpicking of Nick Drake. Now based in the Seattle area, Megan’s songs follow roads both literal and personal—exploring change, relationships, self-discovery, and the search for where we belong.
